Biography
Sunny Patel is a dedicated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and entrepreneurial leader committed to providing tailored tax and accounting solutions to his clients. Based in Spring City, PA, Sunny lives with his wife and young daughter, drawing inspiration from family life to fuel his professional endeavors.
Sunny graduated from Drexel University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics. He earned his CPA license in 2017, solidifying his expertise in the field. Over the next nine years, he built a distinguished career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where he led complex audit engagements and advised clients on strategic process improvements.
As the CEO of Empyrean Financial CPAs, Sunny is passionate about blending his technical skills and entrepreneurial vision to deliver exceptional service. His mission is to empower clients with expert guidance, strategic insights, and innovative solutions to achieve financial and accounting success, while maintaining compliance with taxing authorities.
Achievement
Aclimandos joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in 1983. He was elected to the board of governors in 1987 and re-elected in 1988 and 2007. Donor Programs committees, and as vice president, membership from 2001 to 2005. Aclimandos was elected President of AmCham Egypt in 2013 and served for two consecutive terms till 2017.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton and analyzing market trends to identify investment opportunities, showcasing his passion for continuous learning and innovation.

Team Lead – Accounting Services
Chanchal Soni is a highly skilled and dedicated accounting professional with over 5 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as a Team Lead- Accounting Services at Empyrean Financial CPAs, Chanchal manages and supervises a team of accountants, ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements while upholding the highest standards of US GAAP compliance. Chanchal’s responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and sales tax compliance, all while fostering professional growth and development within the team.
Chanchal holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and brings a strong expertise in various accounting software and systems, including QuickBooks, Xero, and Gusto. Known for a meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of accounting standards, Chanchal works to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
In addition to professional work, Chanchal has a passion for traveling and exploring new places, as well as playing sports in personal time.

Senior Accountant
Melissa Ricks brings over 30 years of expertise in payroll, bookkeeping, and tax services to Empyrean Financial CPAs. Beginning her career at Downing & Associates in 1993, Melissa managed their Gravette, Arkansas, office for many years as an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA). She joined Empyrean Financial CPAs in 2016, contributing her extensive knowledge and dedication to client success.
Melissa specializes in off-site CFO services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales tax, and financial reporting. Her meticulous approach ensures clients meet compliance requirements while maintaining operational efficiency.
When not assisting clients, Melissa enjoys scrapbooking and cherishing time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.

Sachin Babu
Senior Tax Accountant
Sachin Babu is a proficient tax professional with expertise in both U.S. and Indian tax systems, making him a valuable international tax asset to Empyrean Financial CPAs. He has five years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits, including IRS Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, and 990. Sachin also specializes in international tax compliance, handling foreign asset reporting and IRS notices.
Before joining Empyrean Financial CPAs, Sachin gained experience in statutory and tax audits, as well as financial statement preparation for corporate entities in India. His skillset spans various software platforms, including CCH Axcess, Drake, Lacerte, QuickBooks, and Canopy.
Sachin holds a Bachelor of Commerce and has completed the CA-Intermediate certification. His commitment to accuracy and compliance ensures clients receive exceptional tax and accounting services.
